LEADERSHIP CAMP

Nehru College of Management successfully organised Leadership Camp 2026 – Shaping Tomorrow’s Leaders, a two-day leadership development programme exclusively for undergraduate final-year students from colleges outside NGI, on 9 and 10 October 2026 at Vaiduriya Hall, T. M. Palayam, Coimbatore.

The programme was presided over by Dr. P. Krishnakumar, Pro-Chancellor, P K Das Deemed to be University & CEO & Secretary of NGI.  Dr. R. Moses Daniel, Principal, Nehru College of Management, delivered welcome address and encouraged students to develop leadership capabilities and strive for excellence.

The camp aimed to nurture leadership qualities, enhance self-confidence, strengthen teamwork, and equip students with the skills required to meet emerging personal and professional challenges. Through engaging activities, experiential learning, and interactive sessions, participants had opportunities to explore their leadership potential, improve their communication and collaboration skills, and develop a positive attitude towards problem-solving and decision-making.

The two-day programme provided a valuable platform for students from diverse institutions to interact, share experiences, learn collaboratively, and build meaningful connections. The activities encouraged participants to step beyond their comfort zones, embrace challenges, and understand the importance of discipline, responsibility, adaptability, and teamwork in effective leadership.

Dr. S. Naganandini served as the Convenor of the camp, Mr. S R Sathyananrayanan coordinating the programme to ensure its effective execution. Mr. Beer Mohammed - II MBA Ms. Kavitha II MBA student coordinated the event. The event reflected Nehru College of Management’s commitment to empowering young minds through experiential learning and leadership development initiatives.

The camp concluded with a renewed sense of confidence, enthusiasm, and leadership awareness among the participants, inspiring them to take initiative, embrace opportunities, and become responsible leaders of tomorrow.
